Hillside Homes Group is a family operated architecture, design and build firm based out of Walnut Creek, CA. The firm has been incorporated since 1989.

Edward Patmont (Principal Architect), founder and president, graduated from University California Berkeley in 1978 with a degree from the school of Architecture. Prior to that he attended Cornell University. He has been a licensed architect in the State of California since 1983. Additionally, HHG has been a licensed contractor since 1989. The firm specializes in the design, construction and development of modern single family homes on premium view hillside lots. Ed has been principal architect for more than 50 homes during the last three decades. Over the past few years the firm’s style has evolved into Modern Contemporary, while integrating many “green” and “up-to-date” features of current technology (ie. state of the art telecom systems, radiant floor heating and cooling, solar, etc.). Every detail is hand-picked to reflect and capture the unique qualities of the property.

Rodi Patmont (Principal Designer), studied interior design and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the California Institute of Arts & Crafts in 1981. She uses a minimalist approach where exceptional materials and elegant detailing define the experience. Her creative eye and “modern” influence can change a project from an ordinary house to a one of a kind home. Ed and Rodi work in tandem from start to finish on all properties and have perfected the combination of science and art to create distinctive, state-of-the-art homes.

Christopher Patmont (Project Manager/Principal CAD Designer), graduated from University of Arizona in 2008 with a degree in Economics and Business. Chris has been with the firm for 5 years, and is in the process of becoming a licensed Architect in the next couple years. He works closely with both Ed and Rodi in all facets of the design and construction process.
